The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and the Minister of Culture and Information Maja Gojković visited the Center for Study in Cultural Development. On this occasion, a working meeting took place with the director Vuk Vukićević about the center’s plans and activities for 2021. The meeting was attended by Radovan Jokić, the Assistant to the Minister of Culture and Information in charge of contemporary creativity and creative industries, and Branislav Maričić, the Chief of Staff of the Minister of Culture and Information. They talked about cultural issues at the local level and the developmental potentials, as well as the new project “Serbia’s Capital of Culture” which seeks to strengthen the cultural capacities of local communities and stimulate the development of cultural content. They highlighted the importance of reviving cultural centers in rural areas.
