The Institute, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, will begin research of national importance. Media literacy and media habits of high school students and teachers in Serbia.
The first phase of the research includes high school students and their professors from Belgrade in order to explore the knowledge of their digital media literacy and habits. After that, the research will cover high schools from all over Serbia. The online questionnaire will be sent to all Belgrade state high schools in order to get as much representativeness and reliability of the sample as possible.
In the era of fake news and sensationalist media information, the Institute for Cultural Development Research wants to strategically contribute to a better understanding of Generation Z (Post-Millennials) in relation to the content they receive through digital media.
