BIOS EXHIBITION – THE UNITY OF NATURAL AND ARTISTIC PROCESSES IN ZAPROKUL!

This year, the Institute (Zaprokul) joins the great event Museums for 10 and presents an innovative exhibition BIOS, famous visual artist George Stanojevic and lecturer at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts in cooperation with the author team Zaprokul.
The moment we find out that microplastics were found in our blood and that plastics prevailed on the planet, we wonder what Life means for us – BIOS.
What does life look like in the counterpoint of nature and pollution?
With the BIOS exhibition, we want to raise the level of environmental awareness culture and show the unity of nature and artistic trends.
Through recycling, we remind visitors that waste does not have to be just waste, but that new things and art can be created from it through upcycling – re-creative use. We are starting upcycling by collecting computer waste to create works of art by the young and talented artist Danica Maksimović, with whom we will collaborate in the future.
The exhibition will be opened by Djordje Stanojevic, the author of the exhibition, and Ljubivoje Rsumovic, a living classic of Serbian poetry and a prominent lover of ecology during the European Museum Night on Saturday, May 14 at 7 pm in the Zaprokula Gallery.
During the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to taste the natural meadow honey of the small family beehive Pčelar’s son.

THE EXHIBITION WILL BE OPEN UNTIL MAY 20,
WORKING DAYS FROM 9 AM TO 5 PM, FAIRY TALES 4
ENTRY IS FREE.
