The opening of the “WARHOL” exhibition, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the death of one of the most famous artists of the pop-art direction that marked the second half of the twentieth century, the famous  Warhol, will be held in the Gallery of the Institute  (Zaprokul), Riga od Fera no. 4, in Belgrade, on Thursday, August 25 at 7 p.m. as part of the Summer Griffin Nights program.

Another in a series of exhibitions dedicated to the greats of art, “WORHOL” is a kind of return of art to the artist. In the Zaprokul area, a life-size sculpture of Andy Warhol will be exhibited – the work of the famous sculptor Svetozar Radović, as the central representation of this world-famous artist.
An artist with two faces, private and public, Warhol is the inspiration for the exhibition of portraits and self-portraits, with which we want to show the public the artist behind the brand he made from his name.

The eccentric creator of pop art culture,  Warhol, intrigued the world with his works, oscillating between favorite and antihero. With this exhibition, Zaprokul presents a retrospective of the pop art icon, questioning the artist through his personal identity.

The exhibition will be opened by Vladimir Tomčić, art historian and collector, and Marko Krstić, director of Zaprokul, will give a welcome speech.

THE EXHIBITION WILL BE OPEN UNTIL SEPTEMBER 8
ON WORKING DAYS FROM 9 AM TO 5 PM,
RIGE OD FERA 4
ENTRANCE IS FREE
