Yesterday, the Center for Study in Cultural Development representatives participated in the first meeting of the managing board of the international project “Living Intangible Culture” which was financed by the European Commission as part of the Erasmus Plus Program. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting was held online.
The project’s purpose is to connect organizations from six European countries—Germany, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, and Serbia—to explore and present European intangible cultural heritage. The organizations plan to prepare and release an online interactive game about intangible cultural heritage. The project coordinator is the Center for General Scientific Continuing Education at Ulm University in Germany.
After “Discovering European Neighbors in the Third Age” and “Danube’s Archaeological eLandscapes”, this is the third project launched in the last two years in which the Center is participating financed or co-financed as part of a European Union project. In the project “Living Intangible Heritage” the Center, as a cultural institution dedicated to scientific research, has a crucial role in conceiving and conducting research on the intangible cultural heritage in six countries participating in the project.
The plan is to complete the project by the end of 2022.
