(Zaprokul) will host the legendary screenwriter Đorđe Kadijević, who will be the first guest of the new panel series “Contemporaries”, on Thursday, August 11 at 9:00 p.m. on the terrace of Zaprokul.
As part of the “Griffon Nights of Summer” program, a conversation with the famous director about his entire artistic oeuvre, which changed the standards in Yugoslav and Serbian cinematography, will be conducted by Sanja Milić, editor of the Cultural and Artistic Program of RTS, along with selected frames from Kadijević’s cult films Butterfly, Holy Place , Karađorđeva strt, as well as the TV series Vuk Karadžić, probably the best Serbian historical series recorded during the existence of the SFR Yugoslavia, which, at the suggestion of Umberk Ek, received the Grand Prix of Europe at the festival in Rome in 1987. We will also hear exclusively what project Đorđe Kadijević is currently working on.
This conversation is a reflection of respect for the confirmed artistic results of Đorđe Kadijević and the immeasurable mark in the history of our contemporary cinematography and art.
