ENDED CHIP FESTIVAL: CHANGES IN THE WORLD AND CONSISTENCY TO SELF AS AN IMPERATIVE

The two-day CHIP FESTIVAL: NIGHTS OF POETRY, which was held at the Institute  (Zaprokul) as part of the Summer Griffon Nights program, attracted enormous attention from the audience and the media. During two unique nights, the young poetry scene had the opportunity to talk about the importance of Reading and Poetry in public and the differences in the understanding of verses over time. Zaprokul opened the summer stage to the poets and the numerous gathered audience with the desire to make their encounters more beautiful and complete.

On the first evening of the CHIP FESTIVAL, the special guest was Ana Ristović, a famous Serbian poet, winner of several prestigious poetry awards, who shared her experiences with young poets and shared the beautiful, but also difficult moments of her beginnings. “The world around us is constantly changing, all of us who want to write must follow the changes in the world and depict them in our poetry, but also remain true to ourselves.”
The young hopes of Serbian poetry – poets: Milica Špadijer, Irena Plaović, Jelena Marinkov, Marija Radić and Nemanja Dragaš, read their poetry and answered numerous questions from the curious audience.
On the second evening, the special guest was Radmila Petrović, poet and author of the famous collection of poems, My Mama Knows What’s Happening in the Cities. The poet pointed out that this collection of poems, which was talked about a lot in the public, was distinguished by the courage and strength of emotions carried by the songs in it.
The stage was then taken over by new stars of poetry: Marija Dragnić, Šimon Cubota, Sara Stanojević, Anđela Pendić, Slađana Bušić, Đorđe Ivković and Marko Kragović.

The moderator of the festival was Jovana Milovančević, host of Radio Belgrade.
