The grand opening of the exhibition of sculptures by famous Yugoslav and world sculptors of the 20th century “TOUCHES” will be held in the Gallery of the Institute on Friday, March 11 at 6 pm in Riga od Fere Street no. 4.
The exhibition “TOUCHES” is adapted to both blind and partially sighted people, and represents a unique opportunity for visitors to get to know their form, materials and energy by touching the sculptures. Inclusion is an important topic for everyone in culture, and for the Institute it is one of the strategic goals of the project, which raises the topic of social responsibility and openness to all members of the community.
The sculptures are part of a carefully collected collection privately owned by Mr. Vladimir Tomcic, an art historian and collection owner, who wants to share them with the general public on this occasion.
The exhibition features nudes, portraits, religious themes and animal sculptures, which provide an exceptional aesthetic and tactile experience. Visitors will have the opportunity to see and touch replicas of sculptures by excellent artists such as Ivan Meštrović, Rista Stijović, Frane Kršinić, Sreten Stojanović, Matija Vuković, Svetozara Radović, but also George de Kirik and Salvador Dali.
The exhibition will be opened by Marko Krstić, director of the Institute.

The audience will be led through the exhibition by Milica Jovanović, the editor of the gallery program of the Institute.
