APOCALYPSE ON FILM
APOCALYPSE ON FILM is the first forum of the cycle CHRISTIANITY AND FILM, organized by the Institute and the University Library “Svetozar Markovic” in Belgrade. The panel discussion will be held on March 31 at 7 pm in the University Library in Belgrade.
As part of the “Apocalypse on Film” panel, we will present to the public the widest range of films dealing with the problem of the end of civilization, from famous Hollywood hits (Deep Strike, War of the Worlds, The Matrix), to biblical films (Ben Hur, Ten Commandments, Prince of Egypt). they address the widest audience, directly to Christian films (Apocalypse I – IV, Abandoned, The Second Coming of Christ), whose target group are already formed believers. Our intention is to emphasize the script-production features of the mentioned films, with a special focus on Christian film production, which has not yet been sufficiently recognized and researched in our country.

Sergei Beuk is a Protestant theologian, communicator and writer, author of several dozen scientific and professional papers in the field of religion and contemporary theology, as well as two theological monographs. He is the program editor of the Belgrade Youth Center.
Vladimir Kolarić is a theoretician of culture and art, writer and translator. Organizer of research at the Institute and assistant professor at the College of Communications in Belgrade. Author of the books “Christianity and Film” and “Christianity and Art”.
