UNESCO published the Impact Assessment of the Pandemic to Cultural and Creative Sectors in Serbia

ISTRAŽIVANJE O UTICAJU PANDEMIJE NA KULTURNI I KREATIVNI SEKTOR U SRBIJI

UNESCO published an impact assessment of the pandemic on Serbia’s cultural and creative sectors, “Socio-Economic Impact Assessment of COVID-19” partially conducted by the Center for Study in Cultural Development. The research was commissioned by UNESCO through its Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe. The other participants in the project were the National Platform “Serbia Creates” and the Ministry of Culture and Information, while the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia helped distribute the questionnaires to private sector actors.

The data was collected in June 2020. The research of the pandemic’s effect on cultural institutions was comprehensive and targeted 562 cultural institutions (530 public institutions, 12 private, and 20 operating as a part of public companies, foundations, religious communities, universities), as well as 6,476 cultural and creative enterprises.
